Order Related Emails

As a WStore customer you will receive several emails relating to the status of your order or account. These are designed to keep you informed as to the status of an order, or if there is a problem with your order. Here are an explanation of some of those mails:

'Your Quotation'
This mail is triggered after storing a quotation for any product, and includes a hotlink back to that quotation to view the detail.

'Your Quotation is Valid 2 More Days'
As part of our system, we regularly flush aged/unrequired quotes. This mail is a warning that we will be removing the quotation in 2 days as we believe the product is no longer required. If this isn't the case, either log in to your account and save a new quotation, or contact your account manager (business customers only.)

'Order Confirmation'
This is simply notification that we have received your order and it is beginning the processing cycle. Orders in this status have not yet completed credit or stock checks.

'Payment Notification - Awaiting Payment'
This is notification that we are awaiting cleared funds to be able to ship an order. This email is triggered by the order entering the status credit hold on our system, but due to the time lag in mailing, this mail may still be received after payment has been received (the electronic equivalent of a cheque crossing in the post with a bill reminder). If you have made payment and you still receive this email, please do not be concerned. If you have any doubts about the status of your order, please contact our sales team or our finance department.

'Payment Notification - Payment Hold'
This most commonly appears with credit card orders. Due to the high levels of internet card fraud, we have taken the decision to perform enhanced checks on all credit card transactions, regardless of whether they are repeat purchases or business customers. This email is for information only - you will be contacted seperately by our credit department to verify your details. As with the above mail, this one may be sent even though payment details have been confirmed.

'Order - Stock Hold'
This is notification that an order has been placed in stock hold. This is the default order status when no stock is showing on the WStore site, or when no stock is available to fulfill a new order (e.g. if existing stock is reserved.) In some cases the email may be sent because, at the point the order is confirmed, the only free stock is reserved for that customer, and in others we may have stock available at an alternate warehouse. In both cases, if you been told by an account manager that stock is available to fulfill your order, then it should be fulfilled, despite the receipt of this email. If you have any concerns, please contact our sales team.

'WStore Delivery Confirmation'
This is confirmation from us that the product should have, or is shortly to be, delivered to your address. As soon as we receive confirmation that the product has shipped from our warehouse, this email is triggered. In most cases, this means the email will be received on the day of delivery, but can occasionally be the day before, or the day after you have taken delivery.
